When you are confident enough to draw line from top to bottom, next is going back with the curve at the bottom.
上から下に引くことに自信が出てきたら、次はそれを下でカーブして折り返します。
突然細くなるのではなく、徐々に下に向かって細くしていき、
完全に細くなってからガイドの下の線上で U ターンです。
ここで、右に斜めに上がるのは禁止。ほぼ Uターンを目指します。
下から上の線は筆圧を加えることができないので細いままです。
What you want is gradually thinning smooth line, not a bumpy one. Make U-turn with completely zero pressure. DO NOT go up diagonally towards right. You cannot apply any pressure when you go up so this is the thin line.
This is your bottom curve. これが下のカーブです。
Next is going up from bottom to top. 次は下から上に書く線です。
This needs to be very think, most delicate lines as much as possible.
もうこれ以上無理！っていうくらい細くてデリケートな線が書けたもの勝ちです。
長さは自由。ガイドの下の線から上に向かって、
ペンが紙に触ってるだけ、筆圧ゼロの状態で線を引きます。
右利きの人は自然にカーブするかもしれませんがそれでOKです。
From the base line of your guide to the top line,
move your pen with ZERO pressure.
Only with the feeling that pen and paper are just touching each other.
If you are right handed, it is okay to have natural curve in lines.
When you hit the top line, add the pressure.
Start your down stroke with pressure from the start, and end with the bottom curve.
ガイドの上の線に当たったら、
最初から筆圧を加えた状態でおろしてきます。
そしてさっきの下向きのカーブで上に戻ります。
上へ向かう細い線と、下へ降りる太い線のコントラストを綺麗に出します。
また下のカーブがスムーズに見えるように。
Make a beautiful and obvious contrast between thin line from bottom to top,
and the line going down with pressure. Smooth curve at the bottom.
これで上に点つければ i です！
i と同じ動きで書ける小文字を次で説明します。
This makes lower case i, when you add a dot on top.
